Vision

Our vision at ShureLine is to be the nation's most dynamic construction company maintaining the highest safety standards and exceeding our customer's expectations through constant innovation.

Our Heritage

Our founder, Vernon H. Wright, began his career as a welding student in the Newport News, Virginia shipyard.  He served his country in the United States Army and when honorably discharged, he took a postiion as an ironworker in Norfolk, Virginia. His career flourished, building his resume by mastering his craft and becoming a General Superintendent.  He supervised large projects both overseas and throughout the United States; including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge project and many nuclear power plants.

In the late 1970's, the other founding owners; Jeffrey Stoneberger, Ronald Pryor, and Gary Everett, all served their apprenticeship under Mr. Wright.  He officially retired from ShureLine in late 2000, but still stops by daily to enourage our team members to make a difference.

In 1993, Jeffrey Stoneberger became Chairman and CEO of all ShureLine entities and subsidiaries.

From our earliest days, ShureLine has maintained a focus on industrial construction, with our founding owners continuing to be directly involve with projects on a daily basis.  Principals, Ronald Pryor and Gary Everett, continue to travel throughout the United States as Construction Managers serving our customer base and supporting our commitment to superior execution.

Timeline

In 1991, ShureLine began as a small construction company performing primarily industrial steel project work.  Since inception, ShureLine has grown tremendously.  We expanded our portfolio of services over the years to include civil construction, process piping, mechanical construction, millwrighting, and plant maintenance.  We then built our structural and mechanical fabrication facilities and our Kenton Office Complex in 1994.

ShureLine Electrical was created in 1997.  This addition enabled us to provide our customers with new services at a more competitive offering, which resulted in an improved project management experience.  Edgar Hitch and Howard Ennis were invited to join our ownership team and were tasked with running the day-to-day operations of ShureLine Electrical.  Mr. Hitch was promoted to President of ShureLine Electrical in 2006, and remains its leader today.

As we continued to grow and expand throughout the years, our defining realization came in 2000.  We created our 3D project design deliverable and it transformed the landscape of the project cycle for us and our customers.  This capability afforded us the opportunity to take a customer's minimal design concept or idea and create a ShureLine model design concept utilizing modular construction techniques.  This concept and process continues to be used today.  It is a part of our continuous improvement plan taking full advantage of the latest technologies available.  We guarantee the success of this construction model.

In 2007, our thriving companies purchased 8 acres of property in Smyrna, Delaware and built our corporate headquarters, which also serves as the main office of ShureLine Electrical.

The later part of 2013 saw the completion of our new state-of-the-art Power and Process Piping Fabrication Facility, providing the company with even greater capabilities then before.

Great planning and flawless execution is how we measure success.  We look forward to your company becoming a part of our future.
